The Maintenance Associate is a skilled job that requires knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance practices in a heavy industrial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Independent and responsible performance of a diversified electrican. The successful associates will possess skill and knowledge in the following maintenance disciplines:
- Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures.
- Services, test, and replaces, devisces used in electronic circuits.
- Plan and perform job layout. Work from blueprints, circuit diagrams and sketches. Uses hand tools and various electrical testing and precision measureing instriments.
- Workimg knowledge of industrial electronics and National Electric Codes.
- Adapts to new methods, processes, material and equipment.
- Routinely contacts suppliers or manufacturers on part informaton, repair issues, improvement needs and shipping instructions.
- Assist other maintenance team members in troubleshoot/repair down equipment of special projects.
- Serves as a resoucre to production, engineering and other plant personnel.
- Maintains and improves knowledge and skill requiement in all maintenance required trade areas. Maintains user knowledge of tool, testing, equipment measure instruments, conveyance and material handling equipment.
- Completes appropriate paperwork, machine documentation and preventative maintenance records. Maintains a clear, organized and safe work environment.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and guidance.
- Ability to effectively communicate and esttablish relationships with other team members (mainenance, engineering and production personnel).

Education and/or Work Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Master Electrician
- Minimum 4 years experience working as a Electrician in an industrial capacity.
- Completion of a 4 year apprentice program certified by the Department of Labor preferred.
Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
- Quick response to safety instructionsm, alarms, and signals are a must.
- Ability to work and stand for extended periods.
- Adhere to PPE requirements.
- Navigate a busy environment.
- Walk, Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- Drive mobile equipment when needed.
- Ability to sit during certain tasks.
