Marketing Intern

Summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies seeks a dynamic self-starter student pursuing an undergraduate college degree to assist marketing and market research efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working in a global environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assist the Marketing team in implementing marketing strategies to support Hyperion’s segments in leveraging marketing to grow the business. The candidate will be expected to work independently, with some collaboration across the marketing team, to fulfill organizational goals and deliver marketing initiatives related to:

  • Developing and executing tactics from marketing campaign plans including videos, collateral, social media, customer communication, and website content.
  • Working to develop leads and prospects in the company’s CRM to effectively fill the sales pipeline
  • Providing regular analytics on efficacy of campaigns across business units
  • Provide market research support to aid in the creation of new accounts and lead generation campaigns.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience

  • Enrollment in a Marketing, International Business or related degree program
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Completed at least two years of college education prior to start of internship

Technical Skills/Physical Requirements

  • School and/or work experience using Microsoft Office.  Experience with Google Analytics or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Effective, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships in a cross functional team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to quickly understand technical topics
