Manager, Sales Reporting and Analytics

Summary
As the Manager of Sales Reporting and Analytics, you will be responsible for owning and evolving the reporting ecosystem that powers our sales and commercial decisions. From pipeline diagnostics to territory design and quota attainment tracking, you will turn data into insights that directly impact how we grow revenue. You will work cross-functionally to identify key performance trends, uncover root causes, and present actionable recommendations that improve sales effectiveness, forecast accuracy, and go-to-market efficiency. The ideal candidate will work a hybrid schedule from our Dublin, OH corporate headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Transform raw data into relevant insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reports
- Perform a wide range of tasks such as reporting, building dashboards, building data models, analyzing datasets, and administration of Power BI tools
- Work with key stakeholders to address high-priority questions and deliverables:
- Ask questions and quickly understand complex problems.
- Identify key components that should drive decision making. Define the problem to be solved.
- Determine potential analytical tools and solutions. Explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.
- Select methods, including homegrown and 3rd party software - build tools and analyses
- Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models
- Design, build, and maintain reporting dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline health, sales performance, funnel velocity, and forecasting accuracy.
- Analyze opportunity lifecycle data to identify trends, conversion bottlenecks, and productivity gaps.
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, Marketing and Finance to inform territory planning, coverage models, and quota deployment.
- Monitor pipeline hygiene and sales activity inputs to ensure CRM data integrity and process compliance.
- Deliver insights to Rev. Ops and Sales Leadership on sales trends, performance drivers, and revenue risks.
- Support key planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly business reviews, forecasting) with robust data analysis.
- Provide analytical support for go-to-market initiatives including account and territory segmentation, account prioritization, and capacity planning.
- Act as a change agent to drive adoption of reporting tools and dashboards through training, documentation, and change management.
- Create & maintain training content (Power BI, Power Query, Subscriptions) to enable a super-user network for data & analytics and to promote self-service analytics
- Develop and deploy advanced analytics models to monitor and manage KPIs and business insights for the business processes
- Communicate complex analytical results to stakeholders with recommendations so they comprehend findings, and can drive measurable operational improvements
- Provide thought leadership to enable the analytical processes within Hyperion MT, including but not limited to defining the controls necessary to drive data integrity which is a key success factor for business metrics & insights
- Collaborate with platform, IT, Sales, and Marketing teams to improve data capture processes and resolve data integrity issues.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards and best practices in partnership with Rev. Ops. Business partners
- Support the development of predictive models to identify growth opportunities, process inefficiencies, performance gaps, etc.
- Data modeling experience
- hands on experience with physical and relational data modeling

- Mergers and Acquisitions: Actively support synergies and data integration for M&As, including but not limited to driving adoption of Hyperion MT’s standard KPIs & reporting catalogues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, or Business Analytics.
- Deep understanding of the B2B sales process, from lead to close, including opportunity management, funnel metrics, and territory planning.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamis) and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
- Strong SQL skills or familiarity with querying relational databases is preferred.
- Proven ability to translate data into insights and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Experience building reporting frameworks and KPIs for sales teams across multiple segments or geography.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Work well with peers, and superiors in all departments as well as external contacts
- Facilitation & communication skills to work across all levels in the organization
- Leadership and/or oversight of architects designing individual components of a solution
- Proven success in requirements elicitation & comprehension to deliver the right data & analytics solutions
- Strong hands-on experience on cloud-based Azure and AWS Data platform Solutions
- Strong understanding and experience on Data warehouse, ETL and BI Concepts
- Strong understanding and experience with Big Data frameworks and tools: Hadoop, Spark, Python, etc.
Education and/or Work Experience
BS or MS in computer science or information system along with work experience in a commercial, revenue operations, finance or related field
Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience working with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, Power Query, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS and SQL)
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud tools & solutions (Azure, Fabric)
- 8+ years' experience with DAX, Tabular Editor or similar tools
- Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries
- 10+ years of experience successfully delivering significant data & analytics projects within dynamic & complex environments, including driving adoption of solutions.
- 10+ years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing large-scale data & analytics solutions
- Data modeling techniques
- Cloud native data architecture and analytics

- Deep technical experience in ERP platforms highlighting connectivity between Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Supply Chain processes
- Experience in using mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze and drive business decisions

- Ability to write detailed reports and develop standardized tools and methods
