Summary
Seeking a strategic, forward-thinking leader to drive the vision, strategy, and optimization of our commercial platform, including CRM and ERP systems. This role is pivotal in enabling our sales organization to become more productive, data-driven, and digitally fluent. Will work cross-functionally to align technology with business goals, ensuring our platforms empower sellers to own their territories and exceed their targets. This is a remote position with the ideal candidate based in the Eastern or Central time zone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Platform Strategy & Vision
- Partner with the Commercial Platform Owner to define and evolve the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for CRM and ERP platforms across revenue and marketing teams,
- Lead the creation and alignment of a unified CRM/ERP strategy that enhances seller engagement and fosters a culture of self-sufficiency and digital fluency.
- Translate strategic vision into functional and product requirements in collaboration with business analysts and technical teams.
- Identify and address process bottlenecks from lead generation through deal closure.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and improve conversion rates.
- Partner with analytics teams to monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Lead change management efforts to drive adoption and effective use of CRM and ERP platforms.
- Support training and enablement programs that build digital capabilities and platform fluency across the sales team.
Platform Optimization and Data Strategy
- Collaborate with Sales Reporting & Analytics to ensure CRM data is accurate, scalable, and compliant.
- Drive innovation in CRM usage, reporting, and analytics to support a 360° customer view and a robust sales operating model.
- Lead initiatives to improve data capture, quality, and usability for better insights and decision-making.
Cross-Functional Partnership/Leadership
- Collaborate with functional leaders to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives that align with business goals.
- Partner with Revenue Operations Leader to define and optimize sales territory rules, hierarchies, and assignment logic.
- Analyze and optimize territory structures to improve coverage, reduce overlaps, and enhance performance.
Vendor & Stakeholder Mgmt
- Function as the primary liaison with CRM application partner CapGemini, ensuring delivery of enhancements and support aligns with business needs.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of platform initiatives.

Education and/or Work Experience
7+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, commercial platforms strategy roles.
Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
- Proven success in driving sales platform adoption (CRM, Enablement, etc.) and sales process optimization
- Sales and commercial operations thought leader with ability to articulate and execute strategic vision.
- Pragmatic understanding of the selling and buying process, including experience in digitizing both for maximum gain.
- Strong experience in managing vendor relationships.
- Analytical thinker with firsthand experience enabling sellers and leading change.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to interpret and communicate KPIs and performance metrics to stakeholders.
