CRM Data Analytics Intern

Summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies seeks a dynamic college student pursuing an undergraduate degree to assist in systematically improving the data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system used by the sales and marketing teams. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of database responsibility while working in a global environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assist the Marketing Automation Specialist in implementing strategies to support the marketing, segment, and revenue operations teams in improving the database to reach more prospects and customers to generate business. The candidate will be expected to work independently, with some collaboration across the marketing and revenue operations teams, to fulfill organizational goals and deliver CRM initiatives related to:

  • Database Segmentation Projects: Identify and execute improvement plans to increase the completion and quality of segmentation data used to drive marketing campaigns. Activities would include extracting records to identify missing or incorrect data, finding new data sources, aligning data points with segment managers, and preparing data loads to the CRM.
  • Data Cleansing Projects: Identify obsolete CRM records related to sales and marketing activities. Prepare and execute a cleansing project, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders in revenue operations and marketing.
  • CRM Training: Enhance or creating training documents and videos related to key CRM marketing functionality.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience

  • Enrollment in a Management Information Systems, Data Science, or Business program with analytics focus
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Completed at least two years of college education

Technical Skills/Physical Requirements

  • School and/or work experience using Microsoft Excel.  Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Effective, strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships in a cross functional team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to quickly understand CRM systems and large data sets
