Program Manager

Summary

The Program Manager is a key role in Hyperion’s Project Management Organization (PMO), and is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of strategic programs and projects, resulting in the successful implementation of corporate plans globally.  The incumbent will work collaboratively across the entire Hyperion organization.  Strategic initiatives will include implementing and delivering critical initiatives to drive new business/commercial growth, improving operational effectiveness, and enabling the organization to scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid position based in our Dublin location. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously, from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are delivered on time, and within scope and budget.
  • Work collaboratively to provide direction and focus to the PMO.
  • Work collaboratively with the Integration Management Office (IMO) on acquisition initiatives (planning, due diligence, business and system integration).
  • Create project plans, timelines, and milestones, and regularly communicate project status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT to ensure alignment and coordination across teams.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business case goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Define and implement portfolio metrics & KPI's to measure project performance.
  • Identify integration risks and provide countermeasures for critical path activities.
  • Establish Steering Committee structure and cadence to drive projects.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects and programs.
  • Identify resources required to fulfill project delivery, manage resource capacity, and task assignment.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools for tracking project progress and status.
  • Facilitate meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and drive effective collaboration across teams.
  • Manage program and project budgets, track expenses, and forecast financials.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Coach and provide guidance to junior project managers and business project leaders

  • Up to 25% travel required.

Education and/or Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in project management.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing processes, and operational challenges
