Summary
Contributing directly to projects that improve production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Support the development of tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance production efficiency.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Quality, Operations, and Maintenance—to implement process changes.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update engineering processes and instructions
- Contribute to safety audits and recommend ergonomic or process adjustments.

Education and/or Work Experience
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, materials science & engineering, ceramics engineering, mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn other systems and technologies used in engineering and manufacturing,
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Comfortable working in a production environment and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt and contribute to meaningful projects.
