Pricing & Product Specialist

Summary

     

The Pricing & Product Specialist will be responsible for managing RFQ activities and driving strategic business projects across segments within Precision Solutions.

The role combines commercial quotation ownership with specific projects to improve process efficiencies. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with segment managers, sales teams, manufacturing plants and regional stakeholders to ensure timely and competitive quotations while supporting strategic business growth initiatives.

The position requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional leadership, commercial acumen, and excellent organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Pricing & RFQ Management
    • Respond to RFQ’s received through the CRM system for assigned business lines.
    • Coordinate with manufacturing plants and internal stakeholders to obtain the most competitive technical quotation.
    • Ensure quotations are delivered within agreed lead times and according to defined service levels.
    • With direction from Segment managers, analyze costing, margins, pricing strategy, and commercial competitiveness.
    • Support sales teams with pricing recommendations and quotation follow-up activities.
    • Maintain accurate RFQ tracking and reporting within CRM tools.
    • Drive continuous improvement in quotation processes and response efficiency.
    • Escalate critical opportunities and risks when necessary.

    1. Project Management & Strategic Support
    • Lead and coordinate strategic projects related to the supported business segments.
    • Support implementation of commercial and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and risks.
    • Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in industrial product costing, project management, sales support, or similar roles.
  • Experience in B2B industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and international organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Education and/or Work Experience

BS  in Engineering or Science preferred
