Platform and Systems Engineering

Summary:
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to support on minimizing human error and maximizing productivity in Production through automation and own developed software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop automation of CMM and CNC (CAM) programs from NX designs
- Automate creation of 2D and 3D models
- Create and/or maintain production support programs, including documentation, testing and user training
- Create templates, parametrical programs, databases and all documents required for standardization
- Create postprocessor for CNC machines
- Collaboration with Industrialization Engineering team
- Participate in Lean activities, such as Kaizens and other continuous improvement events
- Identify resources needed for innovations projects
Qualifications:
- Mechanical engineering, industrial design, computer science, electronics or industrial automation.
Education and/or Work Experience:
- Minimum proven experience of 3 years in Industrial environment.
- Fluent in English.

Technical Skills:
- Desired knowledge on VisualStudio, .NET (VB or C), CAD/CAM (NX), Teamcenter, Database management SQL
- CNC and Grinding knowledge
- Good communication skills with co-workers and external stakeholders
- Awareness of state-of-the-art technology
- Problem solving mindset
Travel:
Not required on regular basis.
Occasionally to trade shows and/or other Hyperion sites.
